Oh my gosh, Michael Jackson's tribute thingy was so sad! I cried so much when Paris spoke at the end. I can't believe how beautiful his children are! I definitely think they're his, even though both the boys are quite fair. Paris is so pretty, and she seems really close to her aunts and uncles, which is a good thing! Oh and Usher was SO funny, the way everyone went up to the Jacksons afterwards and hugged them, but Usher just stood there looking sad and got them to come to him! I laughed a bit at that, even if it was really sad.
Only one week and one day til I see Paul McCartney! I'm SO excited. Time is going so quickly, I can't believe it! It was a month yesterday since I started working here! It seems like a week. Oh well, I guess it's a good thing that it's going quickly, right? Because you know what they say!

I want to see Beyonce the other night and she was amazing! I've always liked her so I thought, you know, why not go and see her? But I wasn't expecting her to be THAT good, and she was!
I always want to go and see loads of bands playing in the summer. I'm seeing MGMT on July 1st, Enter Shikari on the 2nd, and Paul McCartney on the 17th. Obviously Paul is the one I'm most looking forward to! The Beatles are my absolute favorite band of all time. I adore them. So the fact that I'm going to see Paul McCartney live is probably the highlight of my whole entire life.
I want to see more local bands. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hello, Spent Magazine! My name's Jade and I'm joining you as the assistant to the associate editors as of today. I'm pretty excited! Mr Monroe and Mr Cody- Dan and Alex seem very nice, and hopefully they won't want me to make too many cups of coffee. Haha, only joking! Not really. I'm on hand to make as many cups of coffee as you require.
I've never written a blog before - unless you count MySpace when I was 18. That was mostly about who was hooking up with who that week though, and I promise I won't write about that sort of thing in these. Anyway, my point was that I've never written a blog before, so you'll have to bear with me if I do something wrong or inappropriate or something. Take pity on the new girl, yes?
Maybe I should put something about myself. Well, as I've already said, my name's Jade. I'm 24 and I graduated from NYU a few years ago. I actually come from Hollywood (no, my parents aren't famous movie stars or anything, unfortunately - although my Mum was Miss America 1978!) but I decided to settle down in New York permanently because it's far lass crazy than La La Land. It's not that I don't love LA - I do, I just... don't want to live there anymore. I'm sure that makes a lot of sense.
